OUR LIFESTYLE
Welcome to Basin Fila, we live on a 600 acre, 100 year old ranch in north-western Colorado. We breed and raise Fila Brasileiro dogs, and AQHA horses. We strive to produce healthy stable minded dogs that are correct in Fila temperament and type.
Our Filas are great guard dogs, loyal companions, and excellent show ring material. We would also like to show this breed as not many other breeders now-days can, as the true working breed that they are. All of our dogs are bred with a working dog in mind. We are not interested in breeding junk yard dogs.
Our dogs have true sound Fila temperaments. All of our dogs are beloved family members, which shows in the puppies that we produce. All of our breeding dogs have their hips and elbows x-rayed, are healthy, and are worked with daily on the ranch. This combination allows us to select only the most healthy stable fila dogs for our breeding program. We are here to help prospective buyers with any questions or concerns they may have.
